These filters are Active Carbon Filters. Installed after the water
softener, filtering the whole house of unwanted taste and odor.
They are designed to allow maximum contact between the water and the
carbon, ensuring maximum absorption. Very similar to the "Brita"
pitcher filter however, this is filtering the whole home. No more
showering in chlorinated water.
